AREA ATTRACTIONS
The Cart Barn Inn is even closer to Oxford, home of Ole Miss and named one of the six best college towns by USA Today. The town is also the birthplace of William Faulkner – where fans can visit Rowan Oak, the 29 acres of land that housed the author and his family for more than 40 years. Being a short drive to Oxford and the Ole Miss campus, guest have easy access to all Ole Miss Rebel sporting events from football at Vault-Hemingway Stadium, basketball at The Pavilion, and baseball at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field.
Being located just outside the City of Bruce, and in the Hills Region, we are also part of the historical Mississippi Blues Trail. This Trail was created by the Mississippi Blues Commission in 2006 to place interpretive markers at the most notable historical sites related to the birth, growth, and influence of the blues throughout. Local trail marker includes tribute to Leo “Bud” Welch and Ace Cannon.
